Lost Constellation Bee Medalion Necklace
by sculptor, Goody-B. Wiseman
Gold-dipped cast brass
Size of a Quarter
Hangs on a 22" adjustable gold-filled cable chain
This medalion design is based on a constellation of a bee spied in the mural on Grand Central Station's ceiling. After further research it was determined that a bee constellation no longer exists. The stars are still there, but the Apis constellation was de-constellated in 1604 by the commission on constellations! Who knew!
This is in honor of the Lost Constellation of Apis, and all the other lost constellations out there...
